The pattern on the pins are drawn by a pen plotter, using different pens and markers to achieve a unique textural effect. And they are algorithmically generated by a program that I wrote, making each pin one of a kind!
The pins themselves are 3D printed, wrapped in paper, and then pressed together. I designed and printed all of the parts and tooling.
